The Nashville Songwriters Tour
began in 2004 with the idea of bringing four independent songwriters together to stand out in the crowded Nashville market. Three group and seven individual CDs, multiple sold out shows, and thousands of fans later, the idea seems to have worked. The tour consists of James Casto, Joe West, JP Williams and Sabrina. The four performing songwriters have toured across the country spreading their message of hope and perseverance. The show is performed in the songwriter-in-the-round or in-the-row format made popular in the clubs of Nashville. Music City is much more than country music and the NST showcases everything from folk to rock to pop to gospel to somewhere in between. The foursome have enjoyed multiple radio cuts, airplay across the world, and have shared the stage with Bruce Hornsby, Jo Dee Messina, Charlie Daniels, Randy Travis, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and more.

In 2009, the Mikel Foundation and the Nashville Songwriters Tour are teaming up to bring the power of music and charity together. In addition to a powerhouse concert the one of a kind music event often reaches out to families in the performance area in an effort to provide practical support with the purchase of wheelchairs, adaptive equipment, etc. The mission of the Mikel Foundation and the Nashville Songwriters Tour is to bring hope through music, word, and deed.
